Contract AI your legal team can sign off on.
Pactone is an agentic CLM platform. Six specialised AI agents draft, redline, score risk, track obligations, search and manage renewals. Each suggestion shows its reasoning, a person approves it, and the decision is written to an audit trail nobody can edit.
- No signup for the demo
- Redlines in native Word Track Changes
- Your contracts never train shared models
Cap is below the playbook minimum of 3x. Counter-proposal follows master template §12.

Why contract work stalls, how the six agents share it, and how every AI suggestion is approved by a person and logged.
Contracts run the business. Nobody runs the contracts.
Most teams still manage agreements across inboxes, shared drives and memory. The cost shows up later, usually at the worst moment.
Scattered paper
Agreements sit in email threads and folders, with no single view of what was signed.
Slow review
Legal checks every clause by hand, and deals wait through round after round of redlines.
Hidden risk
Off-playbook terms get through because nothing scores them the same way twice.
Missed renewals
SLAs, notice periods and auto-renewals are forgotten once the deal closes.

A specialist for every stage of the contract lifecycle
General-purpose chat tools write fluent text and ignore your playbook. Each Pactone agent does one job, works from your standards and explains what it did.
Create Agent
Drafts new agreements from your playbook templates and approved clause library, so first drafts start from language legal has already signed off.
Learn more NegotiateRedline Agent
Compares the other side's paper with your standards and proposes tracked changes, each with the reason it was made.
Learn more NegotiateRisk Agent
Scores each clause for legal, financial and operational risk and suggests a fix you can apply or overrule.
Learn more OperateObligation Agent
Turns deliverables, SLAs and dates in signed contracts into tasks with named owners and due dates.
Learn more OperateSearch Agent
Answers plain-language questions across contracts, clauses and amendments, and links every answer to its source.
Learn more RenewRenewal Agent
Finds auto-renewal and notice terms, works out the real deadline and flags contracts worth renegotiating.

AuditAI recommends. People decide. Everything is logged.
Regulated teams can't hand decisions to a black box. Pactone keeps a person in charge at every step and records who did what, and why.
AI recommends
Drafts, redlines and risk scores, each with a confidence score and the reasoning behind it.
A person decides
The right role approves, edits or rejects. Nothing advances without them.
AI rechecks
Every human edit is checked again for risk it may have introduced.
Logged for good
Each step is recorded with its before and after state in an append-only trail.
No contract moves forward on an AI decision alone.
Built for the three teams that live with contracts
Legal
Pactone takes the first pass on drafting, redlining and risk review so your lawyers spend their time on judgement, not on reading every clause from scratch.
Pactone for legalProcurement
Pactone helps procurement teams get supplier paper through review quickly, share contracts with vendors safely and stay ahead of every renewal date.
Pactone for procurementFinance
Pactone gives finance teams the obligations, renewal dates and risk positions buried in contracts, without waiting on legal to read them out.
Pactone for financeAgentic CLM vs repository CLM vs AI chat
Not sure where agentic CLM fits? Our guide to agentic CLM explains the difference.
| Capability | Pactone | Repository-first CLM | General AI chat |
|---|---|---|---|
| A specialised agent for each lifecycle stage | Yes | No | No |
| Redlines checked against your own playbook | Yes | Partial | No |
| Human approval on every AI change | Yes | Partial | No |
| AI rechecks human edits for new risk | Yes | No | No |
| Immutable audit trail with before and after state | Yes | Partial | No |
Columns describe typical approaches in each category, not specific vendors. Partial means available in some products or only with configuration.
Designed to pass a security review
Contracts hold your most sensitive commercial terms. Pactone treats them that way, from the database up.
- Tenant isolation. Row-level security scopes every table to its tenant.
- Policy at every boundary. Open Policy Agent checks each request before it runs.
- Your data stays yours. Customer contracts are never used to train shared models.

Common questions about Pactone
What is agentic CLM?
Agentic CLM uses AI agents that each carry out a specific contract task, such as redlining or extracting obligations, and hand work to the next stage. In Pactone, agents recommend and people decide, so it suits regulated teams that need to explain every decision.
Can I try Pactone without signing up?
Yes. The live demo at dev.pactone.ai needs no signup. It comes with sample contracts and a user for every role, so you can see how each team's view differs.
Does Pactone train AI models on our contracts?
No. Customer data is never used to train shared models, and AI processing is ephemeral.
Does a person approve AI changes?
Always. AI recommends, a person approves, edits or rejects, the AI rechecks the edit for new risk, and every step is logged. No contract moves forward on an AI decision alone.
Does the Redline Agent work with Microsoft Word?
Yes. It takes a .docx and returns a standard .docx with native Word Track Changes.
Is Pactone SOC 2 certified?
Not yet. The SOC 2 Type II audit is in progress, HIPAA work is in progress and ISO 27001 is planned. The security page shows the current status.
